With the comprehensive promotion of education and teaching reform, the English teaching mode also has a new transformation. In order to accelerate the task of English teaching and promote the development of modern English teaching, it is particularly necessary to implement the English test theory under the new teaching concept.Level 4 English is the main test of college students English basic knowledge learning, in order to play to the role of English reading test, speed up the English teaching work, you need the relevant English teachers in the original English test theory, for the application of level 4 reading test and practice analysis, to explore the guiding connotation of the meaning.For this paper in the background of English test theory, explore four reading test and English test theory combination of implementation measures, from the optimization purpose, determine the basic theory, speed up the reform of the examination in three aspects of analysis, in order to better play the role of English teaching, help students to enhance the cognition of college English, the reasonable use of English, improve personal comprehensive ability.
