ABSTRACT

The implementation of the "double reduction" policy awakens people to attach great importance to family education. "Family Education Promotion Act" has made family education from "family affairs" to "state affairs". Among the three responsibilities specified in this Law, the library has become the main force of social coordination. The overall knowledge reserve of the main body of family education is not enough, which puts forward new requirements for the society. Taking the Open University Library as an example, this paper has studied the strategies of university library serving family education, by making full use of the special nature of the Open University Library, becoming a family education guidance position, and making full use of library resources, providing various family education guidance services in a targeted manner using new network platforms and big data technologies and so on, to help modern families cultivate talents that meet the needs of society and society.
