ABSTRACT

In recent years, with the continuous attention of the state to environmental and ecological issues, people's attention to environmental protection has also been increasing. As the main core of the national modernization drive, strengthening the construction of ecological civilization has become an effective way to promote the sustainable development of various national resources. Exploring the significance of various system construction in the context of ecological civilization construction has also become an important link to influence the construction of ecological civilization and reach consensus. In particular, English as a discipline that promotes the mutual reflection of ecological civilization between China and the West, it also plays a great role in building ecological civilization. Through the description of the meaning and significance of ecological civilization, this paper emphasizes the importance and necessity of ecological civilization construction in the integration of college English education, and then proposes an effective innovation path of college English education and teaching under the background of ecological civilization construction, aiming to provide theoretical reference and solid strength for China's construction of ecological civilization.
