ABSTRACT

Under the new era background of insisting that higher education should serve the socialist modernization construction and people's life, it is of great historical significance to take moral construction and educating people as the fundamental task of higher education in China, and to introduce ideological and political theory into the creation and teaching of artistic design. Taking the practice of graphic media design course as an example, this paper expounds the importance of adding professional ideological and political elements in professional courses, finding effective entry points, and improving teaching quality. When increasing the ideological and political content of courses, we should seize the appropriate opportunity to adopt flexible and diverse integration methods. In the context of the current construction of new liberal arts, it is an important topic for art design teachers to explore and research in teaching practice to correctly and reasonably publicize socialist core values.
