ABSTRACT

As the core socialist values gain popularity, higher education ideological and political education faces new challenges and opportunities for development. Through the analysis of relevant concepts and theories, this paper reveals the necessity and urgency of integrating these two aspects. Based on this, it systematically reviews the main challenges faced by higher education ideological and political education in incorporating the core socialist values. Strategies such as curriculum reform, innovative teaching methods, and evaluation system optimization are proposed to achieve an organic combination of educational content and methods. This provides theoretical and practical guidance for cultivating well-rounded socialist constructors and successors proficient in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor.
