ABSTRACT

This paper studies the effective application of information technology in primary school mathematics education. The rapid development of information technology has brought revolutionary changes to the field of education. This paper aims to explore its potential and practical application in primary school mathematics teaching.First of all, the paper introduces the challenges faced by mathematics education in primary school.Then, the article discusses the application of information technology in primary school mathematics teaching, including mathematics games, virtual experiments, simulation and so on. The article also shows the successful application of information technology in primary school mathematics teaching through case analysis, and emphasizes its importance to improve the quality of education. Finally, the paper looks at future trends, including the impact of emerging technologies, the evolution of educational policies, and the continued application of information technology in education.
