With the development of society and the advancement of science and technology, various forms of new media have emerged. The emergence of these new media has also brought about the diversified development of the journalism industry. Because of this, news sources and channels in today's society are very wide. Whether the credibility and authenticity of the news obtained by the audience is reliable has become one of the issues worth exploring in the industry. The focus of this article is based on the questions raised above. Therefore, this article takes Sina Weibo as an example to conduct a simple analysis of the credibility and authenticity of participatory news in China.
