ABSTRACT

With the development of the information age, new media such as short videos are widely used in people's life, research and work. At the same time, the traditional teaching mode of colleges and universities has been affected to a certain extent. The traditional teaching mode or method can no longer meet the current teaching requirements, especially in the teaching of music performance in colleges and universities. Continuing to adopt the traditional teaching mode will not be conducive to the development of students' personalities and the integration of teaching resources. Therefore, based on the concept of new media, this paper mainly analyses the significance of new media in music teaching in colleges and universities, and proposes targeted optimization and improvement methods in conjunction with the current situation of music performance teaching in colleges and universities under new media.
