ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought great challenges to the teaching of the Chinese culture for international students. Taking the course "Chinese Culture" as an example, this paper integrates the theory of "cloud connection" into the study of blended teaching modes by following the path of teaching target, teaching methodology and teaching resources. For the specific course, we propose to construct "cloud classroom", "cloud platform" and "cloud experience" to enhance the teaching level. The course focuses on building cognitive, social and emotional connections through blended teaching. Through a case analysis, the specific ideas for instructional design as well as the process of implementing instructional strategies are presented, which is of important reference value for teaching of relevant culture courses to international students in China at present.
