ABSTRACT

Strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese national community is the main line of the state's national work in the new era and the ideological basis for enhancing the "five identities" of the people of all ethnic groups and promoting national unity. In order to promote the high-quality development of ethnic higher education, it is necessary to carry out the full coverage of educational practice activities on the theme of strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese nation community, combine with the reality and give full play to its advantages. Ethnic colleges and universities should play an active role in publicity, research, teaching and practical work. As a key course to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality, ideological and political courses in colleges and universities have irreplaceable educational advantages in strengthening college students' awareness of the Chinese nation community. We must give full play to the role of ideological and political courses as the main channel and position for strengthening the awareness education of the Chinese nation community. The construction of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities in ethnic areas is special, but there are also some difficulties. Colleges and universities in ethnic minority areas should take the initiative to forge the consciousness of the Chinese nation community in the construction of ideological and political courses, and focus on 'common knowledge', 'empathy', ' common action' and other aspects to effectively improve the effect of integrating the consciousness of the Chinese nation community into the ideological and political curriculum system.
