ABSTRACT

Nowadays, in the art education subjects of Chinese universities, Chinese painting is an extremely popular art education direction. Chinese painting is one of the main forms of art education in China, which plays a positive role in improving students' Art Literacy and stimulating students' patriotic feelings. China has a long history of 5000 years, and each place has its own unique local culture. As an art form with outstanding characteristics, Chinese painting is a pearl of China's splendid cultural achievements. From the current status of Chinese painting, Chinese painting embodies China's splendid history and culture, is the cultural crystallization of the working people. From this point of view, the fine arts education in Colleges and universities in China, especially the direction of Chinese painting, should strive to learn from the excellent local cultural achievements, obtain creative inspiration in the local culture, strive to improve the quality of Chinese painting education, and steadily strengthen the backbone of fine arts education in Colleges and universities.
