Under the background of the new media era, people began to use multimedia technology to obtain information and learn ways, and at the same time, it is more convenient for people to communicate. The teaching tools used by the school are also gradually mature, and the teaching methods are also diversified. Art education, as a very important teaching course of quality education, can use multimedia technology to enrich the teaching content and teaching methods under the condition of developed new media, so as to achieve the goal of promoting students' comprehensive development and improving their comprehensive literacy. Therefore, this paper will analyze and explore the application of using multimedia technology in art education in the era of new media, and further promote the good development of art education.
