ABSTRACT

In the context of the new era, to fully integrate the red letters home into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities is a crucial way to innovate and expand the content and way of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, to strengthen the ideal and belief of college students in the new era and to strengthen the goal of moral education in colleges and universities. The red letters home profoundly record the arduous course of the Communist Party of China in leading the Chinese people to seek national independence and people’s liberation, as well as their touching stories of staying true to the mission, which provides the value standard and internal motivation for the cultivation of a new generation of people with ideals, abilities and responsibilities. The effective application of red letters home in ideological and political education in colleges and universities can enrich the content of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, broaden the carrier of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
