ABSTRACT

Higher continuing education is an important part of higher education in China, which is undergoing a transformation from focusing on the extension development to promoting the connotation construction. Online teaching plays an important role in realizing the popularization of higher continuing education and constructing a flexible and open lifelong education system in China. Based on this, this paper reviews the development process of online higher continuing education and makes operational, practical and forward-looking countermeasures for the development goal of "China's Education Modernization 2035".
