ABSTRACT

It is necessary to clearly carry out in-depth English education in the process of English teaching in colleges and universities nowadays. With the deepening of modern economy and trade, international exchanges are getting more and more frequent. In particular, the English proficiency in trade exchanges is ever demanding. Besides, as an important base for training translators, colleges and universities should clearly take the responsibility of cultivating English translators. Optimization and renewal should be carried out actively to improve the quality of English translation teaching. This thesis mainly makes a research and analysis on English translation teaching in colleges and universities.
