College students are in the key stage of forming values and outlook on life, and their psychology and personality may fluctuate violently due to the pressure given by society and school. Therefore, it is not only the embodiment of humanistic thought in quality education, but also the focus of current English teaching to better infiltrate and integrate the concept of “Curriculum Ideology and politics” in English Teaching of Application-oriented Colleges and universities. This paper makes a brief analysis of the effective ways of Ideological and political education of English teaching course in Application-oriented Colleges and universities, aiming at enhancing students' comprehensive quality and providing reference for the organic combination of Ideological and political education and English teaching.
