ABSTRACT

Family tradition constitutes the spiritual core of a family. Sound family traditions of countless families combine to shape the overall social ethos and even affect national development. This study focuses on the application value of family tradition cultural resources in the course Ideology, Morality and the Rule of Law. It holds that these resources can enrich teaching content, enliven classroom atmosphere and improve teaching effectiveness. The paper also analyzes the rationality and necessity of integrating family tradition culture into curriculum teaching. Rather than serving as a mere ornament in teaching, family tradition culture can subtly influence students’ thoughts and behaviors, and thereby enhance their learning performance in ideological, moral and legal literacy.
