The integration of online media has become a synonym for the rapid development of information technology. New social trends emerge, accompanied by efficient information exchanges and amplified public opinions. This has a profound impact on the values, thinking patterns, and behavior patterns of postgraduate students in universities, and also poses more challenges and higher requirements for the ideological and political education of postgraduate students in universities. Based on a questionnaire survey of the basic online behavioral characteristics of postgraduate students in a certain university, this paper grasps the laws of the growth of postgraduate students' thinking and the development of their personalities, explores the issue of improving the quality of ideological and political education under the development trend of the integration of new media, and enriches the research connotations.
