The highly anticipated 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China further promotes the new great journey of Party building in the new era and inherits excellent traditional Chinese culture. Under this background of cultural inheritance, paying more attention to the development of education quality and grasping the red value implication of revolutionary culture become the key points to carry out effective ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The spread of culture is conducive to the ideological and political education in colleges and universities "into the brain, ears and heart". Through the investigation of 100 students in 5 universities in Yichun city, applying statistical theory analysis, establishing the theoretical model, and summarizing correlation analysis and linear regression analysis, we can study the cognition of local culture and conduct linear regression analysis of local culture.
