Higher education is a whole-person education combining ability, knowledge and personality. Ideological and political education is to help students shape a correct outlook on the world, life and values. Higher education in the new era requires all courses to pay attention to ideological and political construction and carry out ideological and political education in the teaching practice. As a core course, the Chinese-English Translation course has consistently at the forefront of course reform within English major programs. The study makes initial efforts in integrating ideological and political education into Chinese-English Translation teaching for undergraduate English majors, in order to encompass value shaping into knowledge transfer and competence cultivation to implement the fundamental mission of fostering integrity and promoting rounded development of people. The study focuses on the development of five major ideological and political education modules in Chinese-English Translation teaching and aims to construct a blended learning model that features "Rain Classroom + MOOCs + Offline Teaching" to facilitate the incorporation of ideological and political education into the entire process of Chinese-English Translation teaching.
