This paper explores the practice of enhancing information literacy among teachers and students through Big Data Analysis (BDA). Conducted in Hainan, this study acknowledges the rapid development of information technology and its critical role in education. It examines how BDA can aid in developing information literacy in foreign language education, which is vital for academic and professional success. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys of teachers and students with qualitative interviews and case studies. Findings indicate that BDA significantly improves information literacy by providing personalized learning resources, fostering collaboration, and supporting autonomous learning. The paper concludes with recommendations for further improvement and integration of BDA in foreign language education.
