This article explores the barriers and countermeasures of internationalization of medical education in China, taking Anhui medicine as example, by analyzing the current situation of international education in medical universities. Throughout the great-leap-forward development, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is facing a new situation and challenge, it is exceedingly necessary for researchers to explore how to build a diversified, multi-level and multiple forms of international education system of TCM to enhance international education quality and service level. Critical analysis on the basis of internationalization of medical education, recommendations and future perspective is given.
