ABSTRACT

This paper carries out an in-depth study on the current situation of psychological health of Chinese college students, and puts forward targeted countermeasures by analysing the types of psychological problems, their distribution, and influencing factors. The study found that college students' psychological problems mainly manifested as anxiety, depression and stress, and there were differences in gender, grade and major. Family factors, academic factors and interpersonal relationship factors are the main factors affecting the psychological health of college students. Aiming at these problems, this paper proposes corresponding countermeasures from three levels: family, school and social, including family education, family support, mental health education, psychological counselling services, academic and career guidance, social support and media publicity. Finally, this paper evaluates the effects of implementing countermeasures and proposes some improvement measures. It is hoped that this study can provide some references and lessons for the promotion of college students' mental health.
