ABSTRACT

Traditional Chinese aesthetic thought has a long history and is rooted in various fields such as Chinese writing, traditional philosophy, literature, calligraphy, painting, kung fu and so on, which is an important part of Chinese culture. Translation is indispensable for Chinese traditional aesthetics to go out, to build Chinese contemporary aesthetics, and to break the Western-dominated international discourse system. Translation is a cross-cultural translation and dissemination activity involving three levels: language, culture and thought. Only by adhering to the translation strategy of "I am the main one" can we build an academic discourse system with Chinese heritage and Chinese characteristics.
