This paper explores interdisciplinary integration in ideological and political education, using the example of the chemistry discipline to demonstrate innovative practices. Through a deep fusion of chemistry and ideological and political education, it aims to promote the comprehensive development of students' thinking qualities and moral concepts. The research findings indicate that this integration not only enhances the effectiveness of disciplinary knowledge dissemination but also cultivates students' overall literacy, laying the foundation for the formation of their future sense of social responsibility.
