ABSTRACT

This study focuses on identifying bioactive compounds in areca nut oil and assessing their antioxidant properties. Through the application of advanced chromatography-mass spectrometry techniques and bioactivity detection methods, a diverse range of compounds with potential health benefits have been isolated and identified from areca nut oil. The findings suggest that these compounds exhibit significant antioxidant capabilities, effectively scavenging free radicals and reducing oxidative stress. This discovery holds promise for the development of novel natural antioxidants that could aid in the prevention of chronic diseases. Moreover, the study provides new insights into the bioactive compounds present in areca nut oil, highlighting their potential therapeutic applications. By elucidating the antioxidant properties of these compounds, this research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on natural antioxidants and their role in maintaining health and preventing diseases. Overall, the identification and evaluation of bioactive compounds in areca nut oil offer valuable contributions to the field of antioxidant research, opening up new avenues for the development of antioxidant-rich products and dietary supplements that could benefit human health.
