This paper constitutes a study of the exploration of effective tasks in teaching literature course. The definition of tasks, tasks design, implementation and evaluation are investigated. The effective tasks in teaching literature are identified in the 4 perspectives: linguistic competences, literature knowledge, affective outcomes and other competences and skills.
