ABSTRACT

This paper aims to investigate the "integration of courses and certifications" for early childhood education majors under the "1+X certificate system." This system represents a significant reform in the Chinese education sector, designed to facilitate interdisciplinary development in educational professions. We explore how the integration of courses and certificates can be realized in the field of early childhood education to enhance the comprehensive competence and professional development of early childhood educators. The study employs a combination of literature review and field research to analyze the background, implementation, and impact of the "1+X certificate system." The findings of this research offer valuable insights into the "integration of courses and certifications" for early childhood education majors and are expected to play a crucial role in China's education reform.
