Aims & Scope
International Journal of Polar Social Research and Review is the brainchild of Prof. K M Vishnu Namboodiri and Prof. Agney G K, both Assistant Professors in the Department of History, Mar Thoma College Thiruvalla (India). The journal intends to function as a landscape for addressing, indexing and disseminating new research in the field of Polar research. As climate change is a gleaming reality and as the quantum of research and magnitude of concern on the poles, which are the epitomes of such undesirable alterations related to cimate change, are increasing day by day, the journal intends to function as a shared platform for scientists, researchers and academicians to deliberate, contribute and assist new developments in the arena of polar research.
The journal publishes original research related to both the poles, Arctic and Antarctic, including but not restricted to
• Treaties governing the poles.
• Resultant changes in Bio diversity, survival strategies, temperature and geographical extent of the poles, due to climate change.
• Conservation of Polar region and shared heritage.
All manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to a rigorous and fair peer-review process. Generally, accepted papers will appear online within 3 weeks followed by printed hard copy.
