ABSTRACT

In college life, career development planning education plays a crucial role in helping students successfully enter the professional world. This article explores the connotation and importance of career development planning education for college students, emphasizing the role of universities in this process. Strategies have been proposed to improve the career development planning abilities of college students at the national and social levels, higher education institutions, and individual student levels. At the national level, clear guidelines and policies need to be formulated to support the career development plans of college students and create an environment conducive to their growth. Higher education institutions should provide more practical opportunities to adjust their curriculum and teaching content to adapt to constantly changing industry trends. At the individual level, students should actively participate in career planning practice, gain a deeper understanding of their career goals, and actively integrate into society, accumulating practical experience through extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and part-time work. By recognizing the importance of career planning education and implementing effective strategies, we can empower college students with the ability to make wise career choices, successfully respond to workplace challenges, and achieve career aspirations.
