ABSTRACT

With "Made in China 2025" as its backdrop, China needs to cultivate a sizable number of excellent, skilled, and applied talents who are also idealistic, capable, and responsible. One of the crucial methods for developing skilled talent in China is through higher vocational education. Based on investigation and research, this paper outlines the issues that arise when ideological and political courses attempt to play a valuable role in higher vocational education in China. It then analyzes the root causes of these issues and proposes a number of solutions to address them.
