ABSTRACT

The Chaihu analogous prescriptions is a class of prescriptions represented by Xiao Chai Hu Tang in the Treatise on Typhoid Fever, such as Chaihu-Guizhi-Ganjiang Decoction, Chaihujia Longgu Muli decoction, sini sanand so on. It has been widely used in the clinical treatment of nervous system diseases, and has achieved remarkable results in the treatment of insomnia.This paper summarizes the basic research and clinical application of Chaihu analogous prescriptionsin insomnia, aiming to explore the mechanism of action of these prescriptions in the treatment of insomnia and to expand their clinical application, in order to provide more far-reaching ideas for diagnosis and treatment.
