Ang Lee's film Lust, Caution blends romance, suspense, politics and spy war. Despite its complicated and braided storylines, the camera shots, movements and dialogues in it are rather simple and concise. Music has become a non-verbal discourse through which a myriad of unexpressed inner thoughts is subtly conveyed. Its original scores are classical compositions which created a sorrowful, obscure, heavy atmosphere and depicted a dark, damp, depressing, lustful, chaos and hopeless scene through the colorful orchestration and counterpoint technique.
