ABSTRACT

To observe the clinical effect of integrated TCWM (traditional Chinese and western medicine) on photosensitive dermatosis. 58 patients with photosensitive dermatosis in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into OG (observation group) and CG (control group), with 29 patients in each group. The CG was treated with compound zinc oxide ointment once a day in the morning and evening, with an interval of about 12 hours, for 2 months. The OG was treated with TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) on the basis of the patients in the CG, and the Chinese herbal medicines were mixed according to a certain proportion. The patients were treated continuously for 2 months. The total effective rate in the OG was 93.1%, which was significantly better than that in the CG (79.3%), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The recovery time and average hospitalization time of the patients in the OG were better than those in the CG, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the process of treating patients with photosensitive dermatosis, the combination of TCWM can improve the treatment effect and reduce the recurrence rate.
