ABSTRACT

Nocturia is a type of disease with increased frequency and volume of urination at night as the main clinical manifestation, whose pathogenesis is still unclear and is a more complex and difficult to treat symptom. More and more clinical studies have shown that acupuncture, as a safe and effective treatment method, has good clinical efficacy on this disease and deserves to be studied in depth. Therefore, searched the literature related to the treatment of nocturia with acupuncture in the past ten years, and summarized the etiology and mechanism of nocturia and acupuncture treatment modalities in order to have a general understanding of it and provide some reference for clinical treatment.
