ABSTRACT

With the increasing pressure of modern society, the incidence of chronic schizophrenia gradually rises, is a common clinical mental illness. The etiology and pathogenesis of this disease are complex, and the treatment is difficult. There are many adverse reactions of commonly used therapeutic drugs, and the prognosis of patients is poor, which is a major difficulty in treatment. Based on TCM treatment, this paper reviews the current progress of TCM treatment of chronic schizophrenia from the aspects of pathogenesis analysis, dialectical typing and clinical treatment.
