ABSTRACT

Diabetes nephropathy is one of the common and serious chronic micro vascular complications of diabetes. The degree and development speed of kidney damage are more serious than other types of nephropathy, and the negative impact on the physical and mental health of patients cannot be underestimated. A number of studies have shown that the occurrence and development of DKD is closely related to TCM constitution. This paper discusses the relationship between TCM constitution and the occurrence and development of DKD, summarizes the research contents of DKD, TCM constitution characteristics, etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome, clinical indicators and clinical application of constitution, hoping to provide some reference value for the prevention and treatment of DKD.
