ABSTRACT

Modern research shows that stem cells can differentiate into different cell types and have the ability to repair various tissues and organs, and gradually move from basic research to clinical treatment, which brings revolutionary progress to modern human medicine. The basic theory of TCM is the foundation of the whole modern discipline group of TCM, with its unique research ideas and methods to summarize the basic conceptual laws of TCM. Based on the analysis and summarization of related literature, the article summarizes the understanding of stem cells by some scholars from the basic theory of TCM and reviews the relationship between stem cells and the doctrines of yin and yang, five elements, Zang Xiang and meridians in TCM, which can provide a theoretical basis for future clinical research and application.
