ABSTRACT

China is a large civil aviation country in the world. With the continuous development of China's economy, the demand for air cargo transportation and passenger transportation is constantly rising in many cities. In this paper, the grey-forecast model GM (1,1) is adopted to forecast the passenger and cargo throughput of Beijing Capital(PEK), Shanghai Pudong(PVG) and Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN) Airport in the next few years. Based on the predicted data, we analyzed the future traffic development trend, and found out the advantages and disadvantages of the three airports. Finally, we put forward corresponding suggestions for the future development of the three airports in order to promote the sustainable development of the airports.
