ABSTRACT

Very common complications in cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) surgery include lung injury, and there are many risk factors for such complications, such as systemic inflammatory response syndrome, ischemia-reperfusion injury, long turnaround, emergency surgery, preoperative inetsufficiency, etc .At the present stage, the intervention programs for CPB lung injury mainly include mechanical intervention, surgical technical intervention, anesthesia management, drug protection, etc., which can effectively reduce blood dilution, leukocyte agglomeration, systemic inflammatory response syndrome, and contact activation response caused by CPB. The relevant mechanisms, risk factors, and lung protection strategies of CPB lung injury are reviewed below.
