Technology,is anything that helps us produce things faster, better or cheaper. This idea also applies to information technology for economic management. The important role of information management technology in all fields of life have shown its unique advantages and achieved different achievements. Informatization has been inevitable in the development process of different industries. It has been fully exerted and used in many fields, and its value and means have been more recognized. In this article, the authoranalyzes the problems and current situation of the application of information technology in economic management, expounds the advantages of information technology in economic management and gives several effective strategies for the application of information technology.
