In the information age, scientific and advanced big data technology has become an effective tool to promote the digital transformation of all walks of life. The production and development of all fields are inseparable from its core drive. It can not only improve work efficiency and quality, but also create more and more value. Nowadays, digital archives has gradually become an important link in archives management, especially various carrier materials of engineering archives. The construction of archives management system through digital technology promotes the transformation of management links from complex and cumbersome to simple and convenient. With the rapid development of the Internet and the continuous optimization and updating of big data technology, engineering archives managers need to have higher management requirements to carry out archives digital management. Facing the opportunities and challenges of the new era, they need to constantly strengthen learning management technology, promote their own progress and effectively improve the efficiency of Engineering management. Based on this background, this paper analyzes the significance of archives digitization, explores the importance of engineering archives digital management, and puts forward some management strategies to promote the high efficiency and high quality of engineering archives digital management, so as to hope that engineering archives managers can learn from it.
