Recently, the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on accelerating the construction of a national unified market" was issued, emphasizing the acceleration of the establishment of a national unified market system rules, breaking local protection and market segmentation. Some scholars pointed out that for a long time, although China is a super large-scale country, it has not fully formed a super large-scale unified market, so that it cannot really have the competitive advantage of a super large-scale country. In order to explore the reasons that affect the formation of the national unified market and how to promote the future construction of the national unified market, this paper studies the construction of the national unified market from the perspectives of "overall and strategic height" and "implementation problems and resistance" based on political economics.
