Under the impact of globalization and modernization, intangible cultural heritage faces severe challenges in preservation and transmission. Moreover, homogenized competition within the hotel industry has intensified, making cultural differentiation crucial to breaking this pattern. This paper selects Horinger Paper-cutting—a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage from Inner Mongolia—as a case study to explore its integration pathways into hotel design and the value it brings. The paper first analyzes the urgency of integrating intangible heritage into hotel design in the contemporary era. It then employs a specific design case study to provide an in-depth analysis of the incorporation of Horinger Paper-cutting into hotel design from the designers perspective. Finally, it focuses on exploring the role and intervention models that intangible heritage inheritors should play in this process, thereby offering theoretical references and practical paradigms for the living transmission of Inner Mongolia's intangible cultural heritage and the innovative upgrading of the hotel industry.
