With the growing importance of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), companies must focus on environmental and social responsibility while pursuing economic growth. Financial management plays a crucial role in this process, which not only involves effective allocation of funds and risk management, but also influences sustainability performance in corporate decision-making. This paper explores how financial management can contribute to the sustainable development of enterprises through resource allocation, performance evaluation and transparency enhancement. Meanwhile, it analyzes the transformative impact of emerging trends such as digital transformation and green finance on financial management. Through case studies, lessons learned from successes and failures are revealed to provide guidance for future financial management practices. Finally, the new challenges and opportunities of financial management in enterprise sustainable development are envisioned, with a view to providing references for research and practice in related fields.
