Folklore is a kind of cultural phenomenon which is connected with people's life, customs, emotions and beliefs. "Wuchuan Floating Color" floating color is a traditional folk art in Lingnan area. With its colorful performance forms, it is deeply loved by the vast audience and plays an important role in promoting the development of Guangdong folk culture. However, with the development of The Times and social changes, the art of floating color is facing a series of challenges, such as not easy to inherit, lack of market demand, and insufficient performance venues. Through the methods of literature and field investigation, this paper analyzes the inheritance and development of Wuchuan floating color art, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to promote the prosperity and development of Wuchuan floating color art.
