This article aims to explore the cultivation of university students' career planning consciousness and its influence on the adaptability of the job market, in order to provide useful reference for universities, governments and all walks of life. This article analyzes the seriousness of the current employment situation of university students and the importance of career planning, and points out the practical significance of studying the cultivation of university students' awareness of career planning and the adaptability of employment market to promote social and economic development and improve the quality of personal employment. Then, through in-depth analysis of the current situation and influencing factors of university students' career planning consciousness, this article reveals the problems existing in university students' career planning and their causes. Then the paper puts forward strategies and practices to enhance university students' awareness of career planning, including the innovation of instructional mode combining theory with practice, the construction of school-enterprise cooperation and internship training platform, personalized career planning counseling service, and the creation of campus culture and career planning atmosphere. By implementing these strategies and practices, we can enhance university students' awareness of career planning, and then enhance their adaptability to the job market.
