ABSTRACT

This paper explores a new approach to cultivating students' intercultural communication competence in higher vocational English teaching. By analyzing the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods, this paper proposes a teaching orientation centered on cross-cultural communication, emphasizing the close integration of language learning and cultural understanding. Under the new teaching model, students will better understand and respond to the challenges of intercultural communication, and improve their comprehensive language skills and cultural adaptability.
