Interdisciplinary integration plays a crucial role in university film and media courses, aiming to foster students' comprehensive abilities and cultivate interdisciplinary thinking. This paper aims to investigate the implementation and evaluation of interdisciplinary integration in university film and media courses. Firstly, it introduces the definition of interdisciplinary integration and its significance in education. Then, it explores the methods of implementing interdisciplinary integration in university film and media courses, including integrating core courses from different disciplines, conducting interdisciplinary projects and practical activities, and supporting collaborative teamwork and training for teachers. Secondly, it proposes assessment methods for interdisciplinary integration in university film and media courses, including evaluating students' comprehensive abilities, assessing teaching effectiveness, and improving and updating core courses. Moreover, it discusses successful cases of implementing interdisciplinary integration and addresses challenges and strategies for overcoming them. Finally, the research findings are summarized, and prospects and recommendations for future implementation and evaluation of interdisciplinary integration are provided. This research provides insights and guidance for the practice and development of interdisciplinary integration in university film and media courses, enhancing students' comprehensive abilities and innovative thinking.
