ABSTRACT
This paper discusses the maintenance strategy of rural teachers' mental health under the perspective of positive psychology. The problem of rural children's psychological condition is a key issue facing the development of rural primary education in recent years, and it is also a key consideration for the rural elementary school student group to realize the improvement of comprehensive quality level and the healthy development of individuals. With the continuous changes in the rural education environment, the mental health of teachers has become more and more prominent, which directly affects the quality of teaching and the development of students. By analyzing the current situation of rural teachers' mental health, this article proposes maintenance strategies such as cultivating positive emotions, improving social support, and providing mental health education, aiming to create a healthier psychological environment for rural teachers. Combined with practical cases, the article also discusses the feasibility and effectiveness of implementing these strategies, and finally looks forward to future research directions and policy recommendations in this area. Through the establishment of appropriate mental health education courses, the use of teacher counseling, home-school integration, and social assistance, the article aims to further relieve the psychological pressure of rural primary school students, thus creating a psychological education environment more suitable for the healthy growth of rural primary school students, and through the application of positive psychology, the article expects that it will be able to effectively improve the mental health of rural teachers, and to promote the sustainable development of education.
